Before participating, please review the following guidelines:
- General Eligibility: The hackathon is open to all students of Memorial High School. Participants may work individually or in teams.
- Project Requirements: Every project must include a component that involves coding. Creativity in applying the Retro theme is key.
- Submission Deadline: Projects must be submitted on Devpost by the conclusion of the third meeting.
- Code of Conduct: As this is an in-person event, as well as an at-home event, all participants must adhere to the Code of Conduct. Respect, inclusivity, and collaboration are non-negotiable.

- No project should contain content that violates local laws or school policies.
- All work must be original; plagiarism will result in disqualification.
- Participants are responsible for managing their own time and project resources.

Judging Criteria and Winner SelectionProjects will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Creativity: How well the project integrates the Retro theme uniquely and imaginatively.
- Technical Implementation: Quality, complexity, and effectiveness of the code.
- Design and User Experience: The aesthetic appeal and usability of the project.
- Presentation: Clarity of your demo, written description, and overall project explanation.
A panel of experienced judges (officers) will review all projects on a graded scale during the final meeting, ensuring a fair and comprehensive evaluation.
